NASA Education Materials/Resources NASA Educator Resource Center Network (ERCN), provides expertise and facilities to help educators access and utilize science, mathematics and technology instructional products aligned with national standards and appropriate state frameworks. NASA educational resources: + Earth Science  + Space Science + Living & Working in Space   + Aeronautics  + Aerospace  + Mathematics  + Science  + Technology  + Geography Materials supplement K – University curriculum.

Educator Resource Center Free Material Distribution The WFF NASA Educator Resource Center (ERC) distributes NASA materials and resources as requested via phone and emails across the state at no cost. Materials request sheets can also be requested or filled out and sent back to the Wallops ERC coordinator. Office visits and consultations are also arranged.

ERC Workshops & Trainings Teacher professional development workshops and trainings are held throughout the year at the Visitor Center. Science on the Sphere Docent and Teacher Training WebShops on various topics coordinated with GSFC ERC presentations and how to access NASA education materials Student workshop/training opportunities are also provided by NASA and can be shared through the ERCN.

Student STEM Opportunities Sounding Rockets – RockOn!, RockSatC and RockSat X (payloads built and launched at Wallops) http://spacegrant.colorado.edu/rockon/ Scientific Balloons – HASP (payloads built and launched from Ft. Sumner, NM) http://laspace.lsu.edu/hasp Undergraduate Student Instrument Project (USIP) - universities propose to fly a science instrument on a NASA suborbital platform (UMES with Utah State University in 2014). Airborne Science – SARP (payloads built and flow on aircraft in California; and Wallops in the future)
