Being a Muslim in the UK? Lesson Objectives: To know that there is diversity in the cultural backgrounds of Muslims who live in the UK To understand what some of the challenges of being a Muslim in the UK are. To empathise and reflect upon how these challenges may affect Muslim’s day to day life and consider what the greatest challenges may be

What are some of the challenges that Muslims may face living in the UK?

Creative task...choose what suits you! 1) Write a story about the day in the life of a Muslim in Britain. Write about some of the challenges that they may face and how they may overcome them. 2) Create a guide for a Muslim who is planning to move to the UK, which explains a bit about British culture and what he/she may have to consider about being a Muslim in Britain.
