The story of Baci Perugina

Once upon a time, a young chocolatier named Luisa Spagnoli fell in love with Giovanni Buitoni, a founder of the Perugina chocolate company. Inspired by their secret love she began to make chocolates with dark chocolate, gianduja, cream and hazelnuts. This chocolate includes a secret message with a love phrase in four languages: Italian; English; Spanish; French. Nearly 100 years later, Perugina continues the tradition of Luisa's Baci. The company is located in Perugia, a town in central Italy.On Valentine's day in Italy these chocolates are a traditional gift.

These symbols are printed on cards, wrapping paper and clothing.
