This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful.

People tend to measure their lives by what they see and perceive.

You aren’t to measure your life and purpose by how you see you You aren’t to measure your life and purpose by how you see you. ______ Measure your life by how God sees you.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. (EPHESIANS 1:3 NLT)

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. (EPHESIANS 1:4-5 NLT)

WHAT GOD CHOSE ABOUT YOUR WHO: 1. Accepted

This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. (EPHESIANS 1:5 NLT)

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. (EPHESIANS 1:7-8 NLT)

It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (EPHESIANS 1:4-5 NLT)

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (EPHESIANS 2:10 ESV)

I keep asking the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you will know him better. (EPHESIANS 1:17 NLT)

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead (EPHESIANS 1:19 NLT)

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called (EPHESIANS 1:19 NLT)

This is the starting point for following Jesus.

Jesus points the way forward.

Following Jesus is not about a one-time decision as much as a life-time direction.

Walk out a life worthy of the calling we have received in Christ. (EPHESIANS 4:1 ESV)
