Today’s Goals Peer review the final draft of our visual analysis essays Finalize development of our advertisement projects

Group activity – va final peer review Exchange essay drafts with one other student who has not seen your draft thus far Answer the following questions and share them with your peer What is the student’s thesis? Take this directly from the text. Does it meet all of the VA thesis requirements we have discussed? What topic is covered in each body paragraph? Does this match the order of the student’s forecasting? Read through the student’s description paragraph. Then view their selected advertisement. Were you able to successfully visualize this ad? Was any important information left out? Which of the student’s body paragraphs seems to give the best detail and analysis? Why? What is the student’s clincher? On a scale of 1-5, how interesting is this clincher? If you could offer the student one suggestion to finish their essay, what would it be?

Advertisement Project Create a print advertisement or commercial (~30 seconds) for your product You will have to utilize 5 or more of the following techniques: Ethos Pathos Logos Mirror effect Window effect CF: Color CF: Lighting CF: Focus CF: Framing
