Statistics exhaustively and timely on the Internet (1) New statistical data are issued on the tilastokeskus.fi service on weekdays at 9 am as statistical releases. At the moment around 700 releases from the 200 statistics regularly produced by Statistics Finland are issued in Finnish per year on the Statistics pages (www.stat.fi/releasecalendar). To facilitate data search the statistics are grouped into statistical topics according to the topic division of the Official Statistics of Finland (www.stat.fi/til/aiheet_en.html and www.stat.fi/til/aiheet_kaikki_en.html). 3.1.2019

Electronic statistical publication (2) All statistics have a homepage of their own, which also has a permanent Internet address (tilastokeskus.fi/name of statistics). At its minimum a statistical release includes a brief text release, but often an electronic release made on the Statistics pages also comprises a broader review and appended tables and figures. Then these concise wholes consisting of a text release, a review, appended tables and figures together form an electronic statistical publication (www.stat.fi/til/ntp/2005/01/index_en.html) All electronic statistical publications issued on the Statistics pages are archived permanently on the Statistics pages. 3.1.2019

Implementation and release of new language versions (3) In June Swedish and English versions of the service were issued in line with the new structure. About 100 of the statistical releases are issued in Swedish and English. The Information about statistics section contains descriptions and other metadata of all 200 statistics. 3.1.2019
