Jobs- Orthopedic surgeon- may be needed to restore function lost from injury with muscular system in surgery. Sports medicine physician- focuses on helping people improve their athletic performance and help avoid future injuries. Orthopedic nurse- takes care of patients suffering with the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints)

Education- For an Orthopedic Surgeon you would do the undergraduate program and four years of medical school to get your medical degree. After graduation you have to do a five year residency program, four years of that is orthopedic training and a year in general training to pediatrics. You also have to pass and examination test and re-take it every 7-10 years.

Colleges- Yale school of medicine- New Haven, Connecticut Columbia college of physicians and surgery- New York, New York. John Hopkins school of medicine- Baltimore, Maryland. USCF school of medicine- San Diego, California.

Income- Average income a year- 208,000 Per hour- $100 an hour.

A big part of their day is consulting with patients and meeting with other physicians. A lot specialize in more than just musculoskeletal they often specialize in more specific things like the spine, knees or ankles.
