Graduation Requirements The following classes are the minimum credit requirements needed in order to graduate:

Course Registration A step-by-step guide

Registering for classes Click on the “SCHEDULE” tab on the left Click on “REQUEST COURSE FOR 2019-2020 in HORTONVILLE HIGH” Click on “REQUEST COURSES” next to your name at the top *Courses are listed alphabetically
Locate the course you want & click on it to highlight, then… Click on the button to the right of the list that says “REQUEST SELECTED COURSE” This moves the course into the 2019-2020 box on the right. Locate the course you want & click on it to highlight, then… *Note: When you choose a year-long course, the system will automatically request both semesters. If you only need one semester of a year-long course, see your counselor.
‘Search Box’ in red that says: If you request a course in which you have not met the prerequisite, you will see a message under the ‘Search Box’ in red that says: “THE PRE-REQ FOR THIS COURSE HAS NOT BEEN MET. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ADVISOR”

Does NOT count towards credits 7 credits = two Academic Extension/Commons periods (1 each semester) 7.5 credits = one Academic Extension/Commons periods (1 semester only) 8 credits = No Academic Extension/Commons period is requested *REMEMBER You must request Academic Extension/Commons if you want it on your schedule (#8041/8042) Does NOT count towards credits
What if I made a mistake? If you request a course in error, or decide later that it is not the right fit for you, highlight the course in the “REQUESTED COURSES” box on the right, then select “DELETE SELECTED COURSE”
DON’T FORGET TO ADD ALTERNATES! You must add at least 2 alternate courses Click on “Request Alternates” next to the printer icon Click on “Request Selected Course as Alternate”
