All about the book I chose this book because it is funny and I liked the pictures. The main character is a troll called Ulf. He lives in a hole in a hill. He likes to eat fingers. He tricks people by being friendly and saying how do you do. Then he eats their index finger.

Lots of people had their fingers eaten. A little girl called Gudrun wanted to stop him. She found an antler that looked like a hand. Then she played a trick on him. What do you think she did?

Ulf was greedy and wanted all her fingers. When he bit her antler hand all his teeth got broken.

Ulf couldn’t eat fingers any more He was so cross he stayed in his hole in the hill in a big huff. He was never seen again. I would recommend people this book because it is funny.
