A –Level Physics: Egg Drop

Lesson Outline: Discussion regarding approach for the challenge 5mins Discussion regarding approach for the challenge 30mins Construction and design. Decorate the egg! To the atrium to drop those eggs! Rest of lesson Drop analysis and conclusions

Drop Analysis: Conclude Eggvaluate Eggspand Write a conclusion of your experiment including: What happened to your egg (Estimate the damage percentage) Discuss the journey of its fall (did it veer off, did it bounce etc..) Eggvaluate 2. Evaluate your design: What was successful about your design? What component had the greatest effect? What was not so successful about your design? How would you improve your design? Eggspand 3. Redesign: Regardless of the outcome, your next job is to create a poster of a new design that you would create to protect an egg falling from a cliff. You may incorporate ANY materials into your design. Explain the relevance of each design detail with relation to scientific theory.
