How to make a graph using PowerPoint in Office2007
Select Layout
Select Title and Content
Select Insert Chart
Select your desired chart. For demo, I will use a simple bar graph
Two screens may appear, one in Excel and one with your PowerPoint
Those of you who have had Mrs Those of you who have had Mrs. Crosby in the past may remember the imaginary experiment asking “Are Refried Beans Really the “Magical” Fruit. I will use this for the demonstration. Begin entering your data. Remember, the independent variable is the one you have changed. The dependent variable is the change you are measuring.
You can adjust the amount of columns by clicking on the side small blue box. As you enter in information, the graph will adjust so you can see what makes the most sense.
When you are done entering your information and you’re pleased with the graph, expand the PowerPoint window.
If you click on the graph, you will see Chart Tools at the top If you click on the graph, you will see Chart Tools at the top. Here, you can do more adjusting as you please.
If you need to change your data, select “Design” under Chart Tools and “Edit Data”
