Lesson 11: Odysseus’s responses to conflict, The Odyssey Lesson 11: Odysseus’s responses to conflict, Book Five Students will read Book Five of The Odyssey and analyze the main characters’ responses to conflict.

We read Book One of The Odyssey and learned about the conflicts the main characters face. We also learned how a complex character develops over the course of a text.

We will now read Book Five Pay careful attention to the characters and conflicts that occur. We will stop periodically and discuss for understanding.
