Answer: The stalker sees the fish in the region of point a, and the fish sees the stalker in the region of point c. As the image of the fish passes from the water to the air, it bends away from the normal because the index of refraction is greater for water than air. As the image of the stalker enters the water, it bends towards the normal, because it is passing into a medium of greater index of refraction.
