EasyParts Update – IR Parts February 2017 New user friendly Warranty, Claim & Return handling system for IR spare parts Simplified procedure Benefits [click on the links for more info] Easy access via EasyParts Full overview of all your warranty, claims & returns issues. Easy to create new issues. Notifications directly in your mail box. Just reply to notification mails in order to update your requests Please note The new system replaces the existing procedure for warranty claims when it comes to spare parts purchased from the IR Parts Centre. From now on all customers are able to create warranty issues directly in EasyParts, instead of contacting their JCI sales person. The JCI sales person still has to be contacted for warranty issues related to product sale from Sabroe Factory. All existing EasyParts users automatically have access to the new Claims & Returns system. If you are not yet registered in EasyParts, we kindly ask you to register yourself on https://easyparts.johnsoncontrols.com in order to be able to access the new Claims & Returns system. Claims & Returns – new system Access via EasyParts The new warranty, claim and return system Accessible for all our customers – external as well as internal. Just register as user in EasyParts. Replaces the existing procedure for warranty claims when it comes to spare parts purchased from the IR Parts Centre. From now on all customers are able to create warranty issues directly in EasyParts instead of contacting their JCI sales person. The JCI sales person still has to be contacted for warranty issues related to product sale from Sabroe Factory. Find Claims & Returns system under Support in EasyParts. Claims & Returns – new system Overview of your warranty, claims & return issues Create a new claim or return request. Your requests can have these 3 different statuses. You can filter on the status. Search free text in all your request issues. Subjects of your requests. If you make subject titles with exact descriptions it is easier to find old enquiries. If you have many requests, then use the search function to search in the list. Johnson Controls, IR Parts Centre | External

Claims & Returns – new system Easy to create new issues The JCI sales person still has to be contacted for warranty issues related to product sale from Sabroe Factory Create a new claim or return request. Fill in the form with as detailed and specific information as possible. Choose between three kinds of requests The new system can handle three different kinds of requests. It applies for all of them that the concerned parts are purchased from the IR Parts Centre. Warranty claims Only for parts that have been installed Defective parts and freight are compensated, if the claim is approved. Missing, incorrect or damaged parts upon delivery The goods can be returned on our account, along with the return (RMA) slip issued by the IR Parts Centre. Return request (excess items) Parts can only be returned after agreement with the IR Parts Centre The return shipment should be agreed within 2 months after delivery. Returned parts should be marked with the return (RMA) slip issued by the IR Parts Centre. NB! Handling days of returned parts = 10 working days (unless external examination is needed). Claims & Returns – new system Notifications emails You will get a notification in your mail box, when there are updates to your requests. You can reply to notification mails, so you don’t have to log into the Claims & Returns system in order to update your requests.
