Classroom Rules Cell phones should not be used in any way during the class time unless otherwise directed. Be Courteous to the other students When I indicate it is time to listen, you will be quiet and follow instructions. Students will not use materials inappropriately Students will stay in small groups at all times.

How should you behave? Be Respectful Follow 1st Request Golden Rule To teacher, To Peers, To Facilities Follow 1st Request From Teachers or Peers Golden Rule Treat others the way you want to be treated Describe it in terms of traits of an engineer Add – Be supportive, helpful, and positive Add – Explain your thinking Add – Be an active listener Add – Work together Add – Expect the work to be challenging but doable Add – Don’t expect a right or wrong answer
