ISLAAM IN THE SOCIETY

DEMOCRACY Islam promotes democracy because in a muslim society people are supposed to take a pledge for the best person among themselves to be their leader.

MARRIAGE Islam promotes early marriage to prevent fitnah specially among younger people and to instill a sense of responsibility. In Islam, marriage has certain rules, rights and duties on both the husband and wife . Islam also makes it mandatory to make the marriage public and not keep it secret b’cuz anything hidden is only cuz its wrong.

DIVORCE The most hated things of those which He has allowed for is divorce. Islam stresses on importance of family, and only allows divorce in extreme cases.

HUDOOD In islaam there are a few hudood mentioned for some crimes which pose as a threat to the society’s safety. Zina- rajm ie. stoning to death. Theft- cutting of hands Apostasy- death Drinking alcohol- 80 lashes False testimony- 40 lashes

PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP Muslim children are supposed to be very obedient and respectful towards their parents. They must take care of their parents needs in their old age. Muslim kids are not even allowed to express their discomfort to their parents in frustration. This is because we can never repay the debt of the upbringing of our parents.

WILL Allah has already ordained how to distribute the property or wealth left behind by the deceased. A muslim is allowed to decide in his will what he can do with 1/3rd of his property- which he cannot give to those already a part of Allah's ordainment.

ZAKAAT The concept of zakaat is very wide and its main concept is to allow for flow of wealth in the society and of course to help the poor and needy. If every person liable to give zakaat-gave zakaat, poverty could be eradicated.

INTEREST THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CONCEPT OF INTEREST IN ISLAM- IT IS HARAAM TO OWN WHAT DOSENT BELONG TO YOU OR IS NOT EARNED BY YOUR OWN HARDWORK. ANY KIND OF EASY MONEY IS HARAAM IN ISLAAM.

RIGHTS OF ORPHANS&WIDOWS Allah orders us to be kind to the orphans and widows and to help them and protect them from the evils of society.

EQUALITY Allah tells us in the holy Quran that the best among us are those that are the most Allah conscious. The prophet (pbuh) also told us that no Arab is better than a non-arab, no white is better than black, no freeman is better than a slave or the vice versa.

SOME GENERAL POINTS

The prophet (saws) asked us to plant trees as we would get reward for every living being that derived pleasure or comfort from it.

Muslims are encouraged to remove from public paths any harmful things as it is regarded as charity for him/her.

Islam forbids random killing of animals, and birds. Any animal/bird killed without any logical reason will ask for its compensation on yaum al qiyamah. Islam even asks us to be kind with animals who are also part of the society

People say Islam is a barbaric religion- we just saw how barbaric. Humanitarians out there are struggling, trying their best to instill humanity and morality into people. Islam on the other hand demands it from its followers and rewards them with everlasting happiness.

Islam has been, is, and will always be the solution to every vice in society cuz Allah tells us in the Quran “And this day I have completed my favor on you and chosen for you Islam as your religion.” if the creator has chosen something for His creation- its definitely got to be the best for them.
