Review Completed 2016-17 Changes in effect for 2018-2019 Computer Science Engineering pathway goes away Most Application/Technology/Vendor specific terminology removed Programming & Software Development pathway gains courses Project Management (21205) replaced by pathway-specific, pared- down project courses Some changes to mapping will be required

Information Support & Services Info. Support Services – Other (10299) and Particular Topics in Info. Support (10256) are deleted from the pathway. Info. Support & Services – Workplace Exp. (10298), Management Info. Systems – Workplace Experience (10098), Management Information System – Other (10099), and Project Management & Resource Scheduling (21205) are deleted from the pathway Course 10055 changes title from “Particular Topics in Mgmt. Info. Systems” to Particular Topics in Info. Support and Services. Course 31097 – Information Support Project Mgmnt. & Resource Scheduling is added at the Application Level.

Network Systems Services NetWare Routing (10105) changes title to Networking Infrastructure & Routing. Wide Area Telecommunications & Networking (10106) changes title to Telecommunications in Networking. “Telecommunications” (10006), “Router Basics” (10104), and “CISCO- Network Infrastructure Essentials” (10255) are deleted from the pathway. All previous Application Level courses are deleted from the pathway. Applied Concepts of Networking (31095) and Network Systems Project Management & Resource Scheduling (31099) are added at the Application Level.

Programming and Software Development “Intro. To Computer Coding” (31001) and “Intro to Physical Computing” (31002) have been added at the Introductory Level. “Technical Intro. To Computer Science” (41010) and “AP Computer Science Principles” (31094) have been added at the Technical Level. “Cyber Security” (41036) and “Programming and Software Development Project Management” (31098) have been added at the Application Level. Business Programming (10151), Visual Basic Programming (10153), C++ Programming (10154), and Java Programming (10155) have been deleted from the pathway. Computer Programming – Workplace Experience (10198), Game Design & Authoring for the Web (10165), Computer Programming – Other (10199), and Project Management & Resource Scheduling (21205) have been deleted from the pathway.
