AGENDA Graduation Requirements Bright Futures Scholarship Eligibility Naviance

Graduation requirements 4 credits of English 4 credits of Math (Algebra 1, Geometry and 2 additional) 3 credits of Science (Biology and 2 additional) 3 credits of Social Studies (World History, US History, US Government/Economics) 1 credit of Performing Arts 1 credit of HOPE – waived if you complete the AICE curriculum 8 credits of Electives 1 Online Class 2.0 unweighted GPA Passing score on Algebra I EOC and Grade 10 FSA ELA or concordant scores 80 community service hours – 250 hours for the Silver Cord

AICE Diploma To achieve the Cambridge AICE Diploma, learners must achieve a minimum of seven credits (including Cambridge International AS Level Global Perspectives & Research) from subject groups 1, 2, and 3 (and optionally Group 4). Learners must achieve at least one credit from each of Groups 1, 2 and 3. Learners must achieve at least one credit from each of Groups 1, 2 and 3. A maximum of two credits can count from Group 4, which is optional. Group 1: Mathematics and Sciences Group 2: Languages Group 3: Arts and Humanities Group 4: Interdisciplinary subjects (optional)

Bright futures requirements

The Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars (GSV) may be funded if enrolled in a career education or certificate program. Florida high school students who wish to qualify for the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars (GSV) award must meet the following initial eligibility requirements: • Achieve the required weighted minimum 3.0 GPA in the non-elective high school courses; • Take at least 3 full credits in a single Career and Technical Education program; • Achieve the required minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA in the career education courses; • Achieve the required minimum score on the ACT®, SAT®, or Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (P.E.R.T.) exams (see table below); and • Complete 30 service hours.
