Concerned about social order, good government, justice Most important duty: filial piety- respect for parents Duty and humanity are key moral values
Daoism Founder- Lao Tzu (old master) Dao- the way Not concerned with human affairs, but living in harmony with nature
Reject conflict, virtue of yielding Wu-wei (non-action) the universe works harmoniously according to its own ways, humans exert their will upon the world they disrupt the harmony Simple ways of nature- some became hermits, poets, artists
