A youth mental health worker works with young people who have mental health problems either developed through an abusive childhood or biologically developed. Sometimes a youth mental worker could work in a non-profit organization, in a courthouse working with youth criminal offenders, as well as in a hospital. What do you want to get out of this workshop?

As a youth mental health worker works closely with their client, they must always ensure that they maintain a good professional distance from their clients. The burden should not be too difficult on the client to meet goals of the therapy. The burden also should not be too difficult on the youth mental health worker to meet their goals as well.
