In addition to the general program requirements international students must abide by University academic requirements
Required to be enrolled full time each fall and spring term. Graduate students without a 50% (20 hours per week) graduate assistantship must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours Graduate students with a 50% (20 hours per week) graduate assistantship must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours Immigration does not require summer term enrollment unless graduate assistantship requires. Enrollment in courses at the University of Arkansas Global Campus or other off-site locations for additional hours is no longer approved. Failure to maintain full-time enrollment may result in a loss of status. For Reduce Enrollment polices and procedures see your ISS counselor. The program will have to approve your initial request.
Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an employment option available to F-1 students. Please see CPT Fact Sheet located on ISS website for eligibility, hours needed, limitations and application form and process. Must schedule an F-1 CPT Appointment with an F-1 advisor in ISS. This is the final step in the application process as ISS gives the official approval for CPT work authorization. OMGT CPT Requirements on under Future Students->International Students. Must be directly related to the major area of study-Principles of Operations Management. Must enroll 1 education objective credit per semester (3credit max) in GNEG 5811 or GNEG 5801 for CPT work authorization. Credits above and beyond 30 required program credits. You must have 3 credit hours remaining for CPT approval. Students taking more than 9 credit hours are not eligible for full-time CPT.
