BUG The question is asking you how are the interpretations DIFFERENT. You do not discuss how they are similar! CLEAR INSTRUCTION You need to open up your interpretations booklet to study Interpretations A and B Command word - EXPLAIN Focal point of the question Study Interpretations A and B in the Interpretations Booklet. How does Interpretation B differ from Interpretation A about Hitler’s appeal to the people of Germany? Explain your answer using Interpretations A and B. [4 marks] HOW is the focus of the question (not why). Therefore you should only be looking at the CONTENT of the interpretation (not the provenance) COMMAND – There’s no mention of own knowledge You only need to use the interpretation Number of marks (4) indicates that you only need to explain one way in which they differ COMMAND You need to use both of the interpretations
