Giving Thanks to God Ephesians 5:20

4 Types of People Those who are Constantly Complaining Those who are Simply Ungrateful Those who are Grateful for Obvious Blessings Those who Give Thanks Always for All Things (this brings God’s greatest blessings)

The Duration of Thanksgiving We are to give thanks ALWAYS God’s blessings never cease (Lam. 3:23) Our prayers should be mixed with thanksgiving (Php. 4:6)

The Dimensions of Thanksgiving We are to give thanks for ALL things Why? Because God rules ALL things

What Trouble May do for Us It may Correct us (Heb. 12:11) It will Bring us to a Deeper Maturity (Ps. 119:67, 71) It will Bring the Glory of God into our Lives (I Pet. 4:12-14)

The Dynamics of Thanksgiving We give thanks UNTO the Father (James 1:17, Rom. 1:21) We give thanks THROUGH the Son JESUS is the Dynamic

Conclusion… The DURATION of thanksgiving is to give thanks ALWAYS The DIMENSIONS of thanksgiving are to give thanks for ALL things The DYNAMIC of thanksgiving is giving thanks to God the Father THROUGH the Name of Jesus Christ
