SUGAR ACT 1764 NO MORE SUGAR FOR OUR TEA; DO AWAY WITH THIS TAX IS OUR PLEA THIS TAX IS BITTER NO MOLASSES FOR OUR RUM, STOP TAXATION YOU SCUM TAXED SUGAR AS IT ENTERED THE COLONIES. INCOME WAS TO BE USED TO HELP PAY FOR THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR IT RESULTED IN ANTI-BRITISH FEELINGS AND CAUSED COLONIST TO SMUGGLE EVEN MORE

STICK IT TO THE BRITISH, DON’T BUY THEIR GOODS LETS LICK THE STAMP ACT-BUY AMERICAN NO WAY WE WONT PAY STAMP ACT 1765 The tax was repealed due to colonial protest BOYCOTT BRITISH GOODS! In 1765 Parliament passed taxes on all printed goods (newspapers, wills, playing cards, and pamphlets). It required a stamp on all paper products. These Taxes effected everyone in the colonies. It was a direct tax.

QUARTERING ACT 1765 THIS ACT REQUIRED COLONIST TO HOUSE BRITISH TROOPS IN THEIR HOMES BE GONE GET OUT OF OUR HOME HEY HEY YOU CAN NOT STAY IT RESULTED IN ANTI-BRITISH FEELINGS AND CAUSED THE COLONIST TO RESENT THE PRESENCE OF TROOPS. FIND SOME WHERE ELSE TO STAY
