Department of Pharmacology LABORATORY ASSISTANT Pay $9.15/hour (minimum) Rate may be higher depending on laboratory and experience Benefits Valuable hands-on laboratory experience while earning money Location Newly renovated laboratories on the 2nd floor of the Bowen Science Building

Hiring Work Schedules Highly motivated students welcome to apply Work Study and non Work Study positions available Work Schedules Flexible, daytime and/or evening hours depending on class schedules Full-time summer and winter break employment opportunities

Responsibilities may vary from lab to lab, but include: General lab maintenance, inventory, and ordering Preparation of solutions and lab equipment/supplies Glassware preparation (cleaning and sterilization) For highly motivated students with more experience – participation in experimental research projects

Qualifications No prior experience required, all training provided Mature and reliable individuals Interest in molecular, cellular, and pharmacological sciences (faculty research areas include studies of pain, cancer, neurobiology, vascular biology, and hormone receptor signaling)
