Homework Three – Adding Theatre Arts Name: Class: Now that you have performed your ‘Fire’ movement piece you should consider how Theatre Arts could add to your performance. You may find it easier to attach sketches of your ideas. Theatre Arts is the collective name for costume, props, sound, lighting, set design and make-up. Costume Remember the 3 Cs Cut, Colour and Condition Props Do the actors need to hold anything? Sound What piece of music would you use? Would you add sfx? Lighting What colour of lighting would you use? Set Design What furniture would you have on stage? Make-Up How would you design the make-up for the face and/or body? Special Effects Pyrotechnics Smoke Machines Wire Flying Parental Signature:

You have imaginatively completed this task instead of aiming to complete each section with the first thing you think of. You have used sketches and drawing to exemplify your ideas. You have used colour well to exemplify your thoughts and ideas. You have added extra sheets of paper to allow your thoughts and ideas to be fully explored. Your work is well presented. You are a homework Superstar! Other Comments (strengths and areas for improvement)
