Time Spent Before and After Contacting Agent The whole home-buying process took a lot longer in 2006 as we shifted from an appreciating sellers' market to a flat, buyers' market. As a result, time urgnecy to buy has largerly faded. Source: C.A.R. 2007 Internet Versus Traditional Buyer Survey

How Buyers Found Their Agents Source: C.A.R. 2007 Internet Versus Traditional Buyer Survey

What Web Sites Are Buyers Visiting? Google does not show much here, but does when we ask them about their first web site. My best guess is that for the first site, they're thinking search engine -- consequently Google shows up a lot in one question but hardly at all in the other. I've checked the data, so this is not a mistake. It's respondents doing what they want as opposed to what we want. Source: C.A.R. 2007 Internet Versus Traditional Buyer Survey

Most Useful Web Site Buyers Visited Google was the first web site that home buyers visited, but was not a very popular web site among those they visited as part of the home buying process. Most likely, many of them were using Google as a search engine to locate real estate web sites, rather than considering it as one. Source: C.A.R. 2007 Internet Versus Traditional Buyer Survey
