Isle de Ronde The island is undulating, with small hills and valleys, bays and even a swim through cave. The island offers a variety of ridge top and beachfront locations for showcase villas or a boutique hotel. This island archipelago's marine life is prolific and stunning. Superb visibility typically exceeds 100 feet, and turtles, large pelagic and green moray eels are common. Dramatic underwater topography includes breathtaking drop-offs over 'bottomless' vertical walls, coral-encrusted canyons and an underground cavern decorated with stalactites and quartz crystals.

Often deserted, brave visitors who do anchor here can enjoy crystal clear waters, a beautiful sandy beach and vibrant bird population including white and brown diving pelicans. Sailing towards Ronde Island can be daunting, as the rocks called ‘The Sisters’ look much closer to the island from a distance. Once sailors get nearer to the passage they discover that the way is actually not particularly narrow but there are currents and confused waters off the headland. One of the favored anchorage points is described as the N/NE corner.

Location Grenada, with its international airport, is only 5 miles away and easily reached by private charter, plane or speedboat. Ferries move regularly between the Windward and Leeward islands. Sailing is considered the finest way to approach an island such as this. The waters are crystal clear and the temperature & climate is considered to be perfect.
