Performance Standard 1 Meal Counting & Claiming Get your “A” game on!

Point of Service (POS) Where’s it? Meal Counting - Beginning of Line,  Middle of Line,  OR End of Line Who is checking for a reimbursable meal?

Is your POS person trained? What is the meal pattern? Doing “Offer Versus Serve” (OVS) or not? Are you counting only reimbursable meals?

Are you preventing Overt Identification at POS?

QUIZ SHOW! NO NO NO NO NO NO YES Is this acceptable meal counting? Attendance count? Tray/menu item count? Vended meals ordered/received count? Second meals? Teachers/Adults? Non-enrolled Students? Is Fiscal Action possible on any of the above? NO NO NO NO NO NO YES
