Sequence ideas to build a clear and convincing definition, using meaningful transitions to link ideas and create coherence. Use specific, varied diction and a variety of sentence patterns. Follow conventions of standard English. Have students take notes over this slide. Encourage them to put into their own words. This goes in the notes section of the binder.
