Module aims To enable participants to: consolidate numeracy skills around handling numbers confidently and relating this to their work role(s) prepare for typical questions from the Level 1 National Certificate in Adult Numeracy.
Module objectives Participants will: discuss the concept of place value, including in decimals discuss and use large numbers consider multiplying and dividing by 10 and how this can be used consider ways to learn and remember multiplication bonds relate handling numbers to their work role and their own experience
