Course Outline Assessment This course focuses on fascinating and important elements of today’s world by examining the causes and management of environmental change and how humans can address global inequality. Assessment The course has three major assessment tasks: 1. A Global Inequality data analysis test 2. A Digital Google mapping exercise 3. A Coastal environment fieldtrip report

Topics Covered Human Wellbeing and Inequality - this topic seeks to examine the many factors that lead to inequality across the globe and how Government and NGO’s like the Red Cross and Oxfam seek to improve it. Environmental Change - this topic looks at how humans change and manage natural environments with a particular focus on coastal landscapes.
