Comments on flux paper Flux analysis -TAC runs -electron counting -pair spectrometer
Flux paper Initial NIM draft done 12 ½ pages without references Currently in the process of cutting material Should be about 10 pages Draft ready for general review March 23.
TAC runs When I was RC, we didn’t have analysis of TAC runs. Damage to TAC. We have good experience on analysis from PrimEx I Key plot from PrimEx I to reproduce….
TAC-tagger timing Fig 5
TAC runs intensity study Probably don’t have this for PrimEx II
TAC long term stability We have this for PrimEx II
TAC - collimator position effect Don’t have this for PrimEx II
TAC – collimator size effects Fig 11
Two methods – out of time method and clock trigger Electron counting Two methods – out of time method and clock trigger
Out of Time Method 13
Clock triggers
Pair spectrometer
PS- tagger backgrounds 15
Conclusions on flux We have good experience from PrimEx I TAC runs – probably not all tests reproduced in PrimEx II, but this is probably not a problem Electron counting – similar analysis Pair spectrometer – similar analysis
