W H A T I S R O T C ? Army Reserve Officer Training Corps is a leadership and training program. It focuses on problem solving, planning, and professional ethics. Over 70% of all Army Officers commission through ROTC. Freshmen and sophomores take Basic Course classes and Basic Camp or Basic Training. Advanced Course Cadets are juniors, seniors or graduate students pursuing a commission. They are paid to attend Advanced Camp the summer after their junior year.
