Who are we? A local, privately held, commercial bank Headquartered in the District of Columbia Organized in May of 2005 Bank of Georgetown focuses on serving businesses and individuals in the District as well as nearby Maryland and Virginia.
Executive Management Curt Winsor- Chairman. Prior to joining Bank of Georgetown, Curt was a Principal and Founding Partner of Columbia Partners Investment Management, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm. In addition to serving as Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Winsor sits on the Board of Directors of several hedge funds and investment partnerships. Michael P. Fitzgerald- President and Chief Executive Officer. Mike was with Riggs for 15 years in several capacities including Corporate Banking, Special Assistant to the Chairman and President and CEO of Riggs of Maryland. In 1996 he joined Sequoia Bank and was Senior Vice President responsible for Commercial Banking in Maryland. In October 2003 Sequoia Bank was merged into United Bank and in February 2004, he officially began organizational efforts as co-founder, President and CEO of Bank of Georgetown. Domingo Rodriquez- Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Domingo has been a Washington Area banker for approximately 30 years. He was the CFO of Sequoia Bank until the completion of the merger with United bank and most recently, he served as CFO of Cardinal Bank in Virginia.
