Who fought whom?

The Royalists (Cavaliers) The Parliamentarians (Roundheads)

The Civil War There were three major battles during the English Civil War. Edgehill (1642) Marston Moor (1644) Naseby (1645) But there were also lots of smaller clashes, normally sieges. Three sieges actually took place in Lichfield.

The Three Sieges of Lichfield

Task: Prepare and perform a radio play on the three sieges: Assign parts and read through scripts. Start to think about sound effects (who will be responsible for them? It cannot be the person speaking at the time!) Practice your radio plays.
