Building Vision and Mission Vision Statement Together with the community, we at Iroquois Middle School aim to inspire, motivate, and empower students to excel both academically and socially, while preparing them to be productive citizens and future leaders. Mission Statement We, the faculty, staff and administrators of Iroquois Middle School, are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for student success. To that end, we will: Provide a kind, accepting, and respectful culture for all students Utilize modern educational technology in preparing the 21st-century learner Establish positive partnerships with home and community Implement daily instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students Strive to incorporate rigorous programs and activities that enhance academic achievement, as well as each student’s social and emotional growth

1:1 Initiative Laptop Protection Program is available so that students can bring their computers home (To purchase this go to the Iroquois Website) Teachers are utilizing technology in various ways Please see the Roycrofter Website if you need some helpful tips

Parent Portal What is it? A communication tool that is designed to enhance and increase your involvement in your student's education using the power of information. The eSchoolData Parent Portal allows for online access to current and relevant information that will enhance your involvement with your student’s academic career. This is accessible through eSchoolData’s secure, password protected environment. The Portal is updated by teachers at least every two weeks.

Homework Requests With the 1:1 initiative, students are now able to access most of the information and resources from class using their laptops If your child is home sick and you would like work please call 652-3000 ext. 6204 prior to 8:00 a.m. You can also send an email to mdundon@iroquoiscsd.org You can pick up the work from the homework bin located outside the office anytime after 2:30 p.m.

Parent Conferences Individual Parent Conferences can be set up through the Student Support Office Contact Anne Hart at 652-3000 ext. 6871 The team is available to meet from 8:35 – 9:15 on B,C,E and F days

Orienteering Volunteers are needed in order to continue this event. Orienteering has been scheduled for Friday, October 5th, rain or shine We need volunteers from 8:30am – 12:00pm Sign up tonight in Room 204 We appreciate any help and support that can be provided
