Meta: I understand what it means to conjugate (change the form of a verb). I can recognize some regular and irregular verbs in the present tense. Enfoque: Reflect on Quiz (Goals or Study plan) Re-explain procedures (where to find extra copies, what to do if you missed class, classroom policies, bathroom sign out, phone policy, respectful and safe learning environment for ALL). Accessing class webpage & E-book. Binder organization (5 sections: Enfoques, Metas (Learning Targets), Registros de Tareas, Apuntes, Hojas importantes) You Be the Teacher: Group presentations and notes Batalla Naval (game) Homework assignment and vocab review (re- explain how to fill out a registro de tareas) Discuss Learning Targets for new chapter Manotazo: A ver lo que ya sabes del vocabulario Move the last 3 bullet points to Thursday's class. Enfoque: Review quiz results, consult notes, set a goal/study plan for yourself.

Enfoque: Reflecting on 1st quiz Reflexión escrita sobre la primer prueba ¿Cómo me siento en este nivel de español? How do I feel at this level of Spanish? According to the comments or corrections on the quiz, what are some areas for growth or some concepts that you still need to practice?  Example: I still don't understand a lot of this. I notice that I didn't change the verbs of "ser" to match the subject. I also notice that I didn't know how to conjugate (change the form of the verb) to match the subject. I think I still need practice with memorizing endings or forms. My study plan to achieve this is ____________________________________________________________. Example: I did pretty well with grammar, but my spelling and accents could use some work. I would like to continue studying spelling on Quizlet, learning accent rules in class, etc. Example: I feel fairly confident. I did well on my quiz (27 or better) and understand most of the content. I might still need some practice with spelling or amplifying my vocabulary (learning new words or different ways to express ideas) I WILL BE COLLECTING THESE ALONG WITH YOUR QUIZZES. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME TO HONESTLY REFLECT AND OR COME UP WITH A STUDY PLAN TO HELP YOU FEEL PREPARED. FEEL FREE TO ADD ANY FEEDBACK, COMMENTS, QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ON THIS FOR ME AS WELL.

"You be the teacher" Group posters & presentations Each group (4 to 5 students) will be in charge of creating a poster and presenting a short explanation of how to conjugate (change) a particular verb. Everyone needs to participate (either creating the poster, presenting, making sure you are all knowledgeable about your content). Groups will have 10 minutes to create a chart (visual representation) or give a brief overview (bulleted notes) of what they were assigned. They will give a short presentation to the class (1 to 3 minutes) as the class takes notes.
