Letters of Recommendation What do you want the reader to know about you What did you cover in your essay? Consider multiple perspectives Give your recommender a heads up that you will be asking for one. Now? Consider multiple perspectives. Ask your recommender to focus on what you did not. ie: leadership, creativity, critical thinking etc. When time to apply- give recommender the deadline and a couple weeks to write Thank you note
