Research questions Which factors convince students to go abroad? What are the barriers of travelling? What are the most popular ways of travelling? What are expectations of going abroad? What are Taiwanese interested while visiting different countires? What are favourite and desired travel destinations?

Field of observation Hard working people, for who carrier, professional development and financial security are priorities Young people are getting independent late, influenced strongly by their parents Lack of tendency to take risk Eating is important part of culture “Due to the limitation in language and less international traveling experience, many travelers from Asian countries prefer to travel in the group package tour (GPT) mode” (March, 2000; Nozawa, 1992; Taiwan Tourism Bureau, 2004; Wang, Hsieh, & Huan, 2000; Wang, Hsieh, Yeh, & Tsai, 2004)

Taiwanese college students prefer the organized type of traveling. Hypothesis 1 Taiwanese college students like to travel and are willing to spend their money and free time for this kind of activity. 2 Taiwanese college students prefer the organized type of traveling. 3 European countries are the most desirable destination for Taiwanese college students.
