Cell Tests Some people showed mastery of the topic, but others, who normally may have scored higher in the past, may have lower scores. What this means: more practice! See your score, comments, etc. RETURN YOUR TEST TO MRS. RYAN. Some students will be given a practice assignment to start during CE and to turn in the next day, to practice and improve their test score.

Human Body Systems Poster

Body Systems Review Questions What do you think is meant by a body system? A body system is an organ system in the human body. What is an organ? An organ is made of tissues of similar cells, that can do a particular function. What are the differences between body systems and organs? Body systems are organ systems, made up of organs. Organs are part of systems that work together. How do cells and tissues relate to organs and body systems? Cells are the most basic unit of function. Similar cells group to make tissues.

Organization of Cells An organism is made of organ systems. Organ systems are made up of organs Organs are made up of tissues Tissues are made up of CELLS! Organ System Organ Tissue Cells!!!!

What human body organs and systems can you identify? Let’s find out in this poster activity!

Directions The class will be divided into 16 groups. Each group will receive 1 blank poster, 1 marker and masking tape to tear into pieces, and a bag with 11 organs. Note the number on your baggie, and make sure the pieces inside have only that number on them. Return pieces to other bags if they got mixed up!

Directions With your partner(s), discuss what you think each organ is called. Place them on your body poster where you think they go. Tape them to the poster. Label the tape pieces with the marker, with what you think the organ is called. Discuss what body system you think it is a part of. DO NOT mix up the organs from one bag to another bag! Use only what is in your bag!
