We just have to be willing to sit there and listen. Margaret Wheatley Strategic Action Plan First 30 Days First 90 days Listen Work in collaboration with Board of Directors and staff to gain a solid understanding of the organization Schedule a one on one with each staff member, build rapport Study consortium funding, procedures and policies Research jurisdictional education plans Gain understanding of grant deliverable priorities Reinforce the great work already done Establish relationship with all education partners (District Contacts, ED colleagues, and partner organizations) Review priorities set in the spring with education partners to support implementation Connect with District teams through advisory committees Listening is such a simple act. It requires us to be present, and that takes practice, but we don't have to do anything else. We don't have to advise, or coach, or sound wise. We just have to be willing to sit there and listen. Margaret Wheatley
