ABP Update to CoPS May 3, 2009 Subspecialty Workforce: 32% of first-time general pediatrics exam takers in 2008 indicate interest in subspecialty career. Increasing interest by AMGs and women. General Pediatrics ITE: Not endorsed by ABP for use in fellowship applications. Maintenance of Certification (MOC): PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes available to all PDs in May to provide concise overview to residents and fellows. New ABP Web site: Check out information on MOC for those with permanent certificates or certification expiring in 2009.
