Tsutsui): Origamics -- Geometry of Paper Folding -- This class can be approved for the math minor credits, as well as any math electives and gen ed math. Field Trips include: Japan Origami Museum, Kanazawa, Kyoto SP 399 -2 (T. Watanabe): “Hands-on Geometry” gen ed math. Field Trips include: Hiroshima, Chichu Museum, Tokyo RS 399: Introduction to Japanese history, culture and society This class can be approved for SS/HU lower/upper-level requirement, and it is a series of lectures (including a few anime related lectures by experts at OPU and nearby universities. Field Trips include: Riken Kei computer), Anime Museum, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Experience a perfect combination of ancient and super modern Japan!! We will stay in uptown Osaka. -- Convenient access to everywhere: Kyoto, Kobe, Nara etc. -- Millions of shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. -- Ride a train to the campus of OPU for classes. In addition to several field trips, there will be optional tours to places only local people would know.

Osaka Prefecture University One of the largest campus areas in Japan, and it has a very nice relaxing atmosphere. Among other fields, specially superior in the engineering science field. Click!
Osaka Prefecture University Hotel to University by train. Approximately 25 min: change train at a major station where millions of shops and restaurants, as well as a famous park is around. (--train pass included in the program fee--) Train runs every 2~3 min.
