Dedication ! Persistence ! 100% effort Keep trying over and over Michael A: Dedication is to put 100% effort into something Zac: And persistence is to keep trying over and over again even if you fail. Wil: Dedication and Persistence can be used in many situations Toby S: Such as exams like the Tests; 11+, GCSE and A levels etc.. School; Work, Relationships and Sport.

After released from jail... He is very dedicated... Nelson Mandela South African President Jailed for 27 years... During his sentence... After released from jail... He is very dedicated... George: He was jailed for 27 years because he fought for blacks peoples rights. Matthew H: During his sentence he learnt the white peoples language to communicate with them better. Matthew J: After the sentence he continued campaigning and won black peoples rights forever. Then he became South African President for his hard work and his persistence. Matthew L: He is very dedicated because he never gave up on black peoples rights and after years of unsuccessful campaigns and jail sentences his dream was fulfilled. He is regarded as one of the most dedicated people who ever lived.

Michael Williams: Disabled athletes have all been hurt in some way, however they are all still determined to compete in the event that they favour Toby: Strive to be the best at what they do even though they are at a disadvantage. Osama Bin Laden was killed on 2/5/11 Taylor: Bin laden was the worlds must wanted man for ten years. Maxim: He was hunted for the last ten years of his life. The Navy Seals shot him dead. Owen: Osama Bin laden was responsible for 9/11 and many other organized terrorist attacks like 7/7. Jack: He said he did it for religous reasons Owen: If you type into google maps bin laden’s house it comes up with a cave.

Sport On the 4th of June Li Na... Jessica Ennis is a prime example... Form cycle marathon... Avinaash: On the 4th of June Li Na won the French Open as the first ever Chinese woman. Her dedication shows great reward as over a thousand Chinese children have taken up tennis lessons in the last couple of weeks. Jessica Ennis is also a great example of dedication in sport... Alex: Myself and Mr. Brandon came up with the idea of a form cycle marathon tournament to raise money for the charity Whizz Kids. In 2/3 weeks time, in registration, each student will cycle a mile ( roughly one lap of the field) and the times will be added up. The form with the quickest time will receive a prize. Charlie: Whizz Kids is a very successful charity which enables seriously disabled children and their families to go on a holiday. Also it gives parents respite so it is a great charity to donate to.

How it can help at school - Sport Getting into school teams... Achieving Personal Bests... Improving in a sport... Josh Rees... Jake: Getting into school teams can be achieved by dedication. Patrick: Achieving Personal bests in subjects and in sport Jake: You can improve in sport by dedication and persistence. Patrick. Josh Rees, a former pupil at this school, is an example of someone has persisted and dedicated himself to football.
