THE WATER CYCLE Water moves from the oceans to the atmosphere, from the atmosphere to the land, and from the land back to the oceans.
Spheres of the Earth The earth is made up of four main spheres which allow us to live and function. These layers must exist in harmony and work together.
 My class will be studying the earth, and so the subject is Geology.  We live in the Biosphere.  That glacier is considered to be part of the Hydrosphere.

Hydrologic (Water) Cycle

Transpiration – plants releasing water into the air. Infiltration- downward movement of water into the ground. Runoff – precipitation that doesn’t evaporate, transpire or infiltrate the ground. Percolation –filtering down through the soil. Throughflow – water that percolates into the ground but returns to the surface before entering another body of water.
