What are we doing today Since today is Halloween, we are going to create a vampire from your favourite portrait I have chosen Justin Bieber
Step 1 – Selecting a Picture Go on the Internet and Google search a picture of your favourite star that shows teeth Be sure to save your picture on your M drive. Open Photoshop and select the picture to allow for editing
Step 2 – Whitening the skin Using the quick selection tool, highlight the face and associated skin to be tinted Remember to use the (-) to correct any extra grabs
Step 2 – Whitening the skin Now that the skin is selected, click on the paint bucket Change the foreground colour to a pasty white Change the opacity to around 40% Click on the face where it needs to be coloured
Step 3 – Creating the fangs Go to Layer Duplicate Layer Type Ctrl – D to deselect Go to Filter Distort Liquify to create the fangs Grab the persons teeth and while clicking down, drag the teeth to extend them Play around with the size of the brush to get the desired results Click OK
Step 4 – Adding Blood and red eyes Click on the brush, Change the foreground colour to red and reduce the size of the brush Click on where you would like the red to be Zoom in for the eyes and teeth to be more accurate
Step 5 – changing the background Find a scary Halloween background picture and save it on your M Drive Open the file in Photoshop and make any changes you desire Now select your image using the Quick selection tool Use the move tool to drag your image to the background picture Resize your image to fit into the background
Step 6 – Smoothing out the lines Use the eraser to eliminate any extra parts that were moved over (white areas, etc) Ensure that Layer 1 is highlighted when you are erasing Use the smudge tool to erase the hard lines that exist between your image and the background
