CRAFTPlayers Presents…

CRAFTShowdates Friday, March 2nd, 7:30pm curtain. Saturday, March 3rd, 7:30pm curtain. All reserved seating. You must be available to do BOTH shows.

CRAFTTickets All Cast, Crew, and Pit members are guaranteed password protected access to online sales before the general public. Tickets are $8 or $10 each. We must sell out all 627 seats!!! Ticket sales begin early January. Mrs. Hoffenson is the Ticketmaster. “Brown Paper Tickets” is our website.

CRAFTCommitment January - March Show Dates: All Tues = all cast Leads/Principals = one or two additional days/week, some maybe three. At least four Saturdays (morning) Tuesday, February 27th: Whole company dress rehearsal (6-10pm!!) Wednesday, February 28th: Thursday, March 1st: Rest Day No wrestling, no winter cheerleading, and no boys basketball. No climbing mountains, no skiing/boarding, no screaming, no rock concerts.

CRAFTFinances All cast members pay $54 to cover all personal expenses. Cast Picture Show T-Shirt Saturday Snacks Costume rental/purchase (for some) Cast Party (yeah!) Scholarships are always available. Extras DVDs will be pre-sold for $25 each. Late DVD orders will be $30 each. Broadway trip is $100 CASH

CRAFTObligations You must maintain your schedule. You must meet all deadlines: Contracts and fees Ticket forms and sales Costume box and costume parts You must have your CRAFTFolder at each rehearsal. You must communicate with your parent/s.

CRAFTAttendance Policy Students who are absent from school due to illness are excused if they miss a rehearsal on the day of their illness. Any student who has more than two (2) unexcused absences must meet with the Producer or Director to determine his/her continued participation in the production. Students who miss a blocking or Saturday rehearsal may be prevented from performing in that scene. Any absence other than illness is not permitted within the last ten (10) days of the production. Even if excused, absence during the last ten (10) days of the production may cause partial or total exclusion from the show. Any student with more than five (5) absences, [excused or unexcused] will not be permitted to continue with CRAFTPlayers.

CRAFTAuditions Auditions: Sat., Nov. 11th, 8am - 1pm. Sign up for a one-hour time slot on music bulletin board after the info meeting. Sign up in pen only. You may not sign up for your friends! Changes made with staff only. Callbacks: Wednesday AFTER. After school, by invitation only.

CRAFTAudition Day Three stations – 20 minutes each! Lobby: fill out schedule and costume size chart. Drop off monies… Stage: sing and answer simple questions. Music Room: reading and movement. If you can’t be there on Saturday – Mr. Dolan needs a note in advance from parent/s. You’ll be scheduled for Thursday, November 9th, 3-4pm.

CRAFTSong Selection Anything from: Disallowed songs: Joseph, South Pacific, Working, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Music Man. Les Miserables, or Sweeney Todd. Disallowed songs: Don’t Rain on my Parade, Defying Gravity - Wicked, Somewhere Over the Rainbow - (AS PERFORMED BY PINK), For Good - Wicked, or anything from Hamilton!
