Attitudes Towards Wife Beating Percent of women and men age 15-49 who agree that a husband has the right to beat his wife for any one of the following reasons:

Key Findings 48% of currently employed women and 52% of currently employed men are paid in cash. 49% of women make less than their husbands 86% of women participate in all 3 decisions (health care, major household purchases and visits to family) 46% of women and 22% of men agree that a husband is justified in beating his wife for certain reasons.
