Refugees a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

Genocide the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation.

Immigrate come to live permanently in a foreign country.

Emigrate leave one's own country in order to settle permanently in another.

Asylum the protection granted by a nation to someone who has left their native country as a political refugee.

OPEC The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is a group consisting of 12 of the world's major oil-exporting nations. OPEC was founded in 1960 to coordinate the petroleum policies of its members, and to provide member states with technical and economic aid.

NAFTA The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is an agreement among the United States, Canada and Mexico designed to remove tariff barriers between the three countries.
